Working principle

Disc vacuum filter is a kind of solid-liquid separation equipment. The filter disc is driven by a speed-regulating motor through a reducer and open gear transmission, so that it rotates at a certain speed in a tank filled with ore pulp. 2. The time that the filter plate is in each working area is not only related to the number of revolutions of the filter, but also related to the angle occupied by each area, which can be adjusted through the distribution head.
3. When filtering, the filtration time experienced by each point on the fan-shaped filter plate is different, and it depends on the radial position of the point. The filtration time experienced by point n on the filter plate is the shortest, and point m is the longest. Increasing the number of filter plates on each disc can shorten the time gap between two points, thereby utilizing the area of the filter plates more reasonably.
4. Since there are non-working gaps between each fan-shaped filter plate, in order to reduce these non-working areas on the back plate, the number of filter plates should not be too large. On each disk, the most reasonable number of fan-shaped filter plates is about 10 pieces, and generally can be selected in the range of 8-16 pieces.
